This is for those moms who love being a mom, but also enjoy working and earning a little dough! But, also want to be home with their kids. I have a few things that I do on the side, not nessesarily for the money but just to help me to escape from the everyday grind. So I was thinking and searching for more ideas and I found these, so I wanted to share with you all......
Turn Crafts Into Cash-
If you are crafty check out Etsy.com For all of those who don't know. It is an online marketplace that connects people who want to sell their handmade stuff like, candles, bags, toys, clothing, food, jewelry, and much more. It is free to get started; the site takes 3.5 percent of your sales, plus a 20 cent listing fee per item. People from all over the world look at this site!
Answer customer service calls-
When you call the customer service department of your bank or a retail outlet, for example, the voice you hear on the other end may well belong to someone working out of her living room. This may be a little hard with crazy kids running around, but for those of you who have small babies or kids at school it may work out better. To get started, connect with some of these companies, including Arise.com, AlpineAccess.com,, Liveops.com, and Workingsolutions.com So visit each site and find out what one would work best for you.
Freelance projects on the web-
Many businesses would love your help with tasks ranging from coding edbsites to writing press materials. Sites like Elance.com and oDesk.com post thousands of these kind of opportunities and then facilitate the hiring and payment processes. Both sites allow you to create a free profile to tout your skills and experience and take assessments to certify your skill level. So for those of you who are good at this graphic are stuff well why not try it?
Shop undercover-
This one is good, because you get to get out of the house and you can shop and get paid. But be carful some of them can be scams. I also know people who have done it and it turns out good. So here is a site to try mysteryshop.org
Good luck all you moms out there just trying their best to be a MOM!

How do We save the World!?
I know that us moms already have too much to do, but I like to think that by making a small difference we can change things for our children and so on....Here are some things that I have started to do and I still need to improve...(please add your ideas)
1. teach my kids to turn off lights, water and t.v.! (leaving the t.v. on uses so much energy)
2. Provo has a recycle garbage can and I put so much garbage in it and our regular can is never full by the time the truck comes
3. Showers use less water than baths. (not that us moms have time for that anyway!)
4. When buying paper and plastic products look for biodegradable or if that is not an option then pick the paper because plastic takes a lot longer to break down into earth. Try to only use them when necessary!
5.don't throw away items some one else might want....turn in to a thrift store. And you shop at thrift stores for certain items as well.
6. Try not to use bottled water! most companies just fill it up in the tap anyways...and they are filling up the land fills because not a lot of people are recycling them.
7. Remember even if you do recycle it still takes energy and pollutes and the recycle factory's so just be aware what you waste!!!
Here are more added by Tami Haws.....
8. Use energy saving light bulbs, they cost more up front but last so much longer
9. Make your own compost (you can purchase the cans at any garden store) it is so nice for your flowers and garden and it saves the landfills. find out more online
10. Front loader washers..Tami has noticed a huge difference in her energy bill and loves how it cleans as well.
11. Use a hankie instead of tissues, most people just wipe one time and throw away!
12. there are a lot of house cleaning products that you can make yourself online....That are natural!
Thanks Tami for your input!
13. I use the clorox green toilet cleaner in my toilets and it works great, if I have a really bad toilet from time to time I will use the other kind, but not very often. Be aware of what we put down our drains......That water ends up recycling and then we drink it, and no not all the chemicals are out of it!
