I had a tip and I know it sounds too easy but it works. I always have on hand cooked chicken tenders and sometimes veggies. It's so much easier making a healthy snack from the chicken when it's already cooked. Chicken salad is one of my favorites. Or chicken pita sandwiches. Also I always have on hand zip locks bags with assorted vegies already in it. Ready to go when I am out of the door. I wash and re-use the bags...recycle please!!! I also have string cheese which anyone that has kids I'm sure has. For anyone that likes tomato's I grew these this year and I love snacking on them. Cherry tomatoes and they are always ready to eat. Last one, is frozen green grapes. If you have not tried this they are so good and it helps if you are craving something sweet. Great for kids in the summer.
